As a multifaceted musician and producer, I perform on various instruments,
compose, record, mix, and produce music across a range of platforms.
My work spans bands, theater productions, films, series, radio plays, and dance performances.
Amidst these commitments, I try to find the time to craft and nurture my own personal musical creations.
Born near Münster in 1978, my musical journey started at 11, playing in bands and recording on a four-track tape deck.
In 1999, I moved to Berlin to study double bass, beeing part of the vibrant Berlin jazz scene of the early 2000s and leading to a few years of touring and some awards with various bands. My focus shifted to songwriting, production and touring the world with my band, Super700 for a decade, before expanding my musical playground and creating compositions for theater, film, and radio plays. From 2011 to 2015 I worked in Kosovo also with a multitude of local artists.
Currently, I operate from my studio THE COP SHOP in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, focusing on writing and producing for theater plays and projects like Brigade Futur III and the Swiss National Jazz Youth Orchestra, jugenjazzorchester.ch, together with my long time collaborator Benjamin Weidekamp. Recently i curated and composed music for my first TV show, "Like a loser" on ZDF Neo.
Additionally, I continue to produce, mix, and master music for others, contributing to projects that have amassed nearly 20 million plays.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to potentially collaborating with you.
